Computer recycling, or e-waste recycling is the disassembly and separation of components and raw materials of waste electronics. Although the procedures of re-use, donation and repair are not strictly recycling, this is our preferred sustainable way to dispose of IT waste.
However, you cannot avoid the really old PCs and servers that aren’t able to be resold, so we do accept ANY IT related hardware and we sort out the kit that cant be reused and we strip it down. We have partners who handle the plastics, the paper and cardboard, the batteries, the crap. The copper and steel are separated and go to the scrappies. The PCB boards, CPU, RAM and drilled Hard disks are processed through a multi-national that tracks their transport and shredding at owned plants overseas.
